We keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what we store and why.

What we store

• Favorites (optional): if you save a REIT, we store your email address and the tickers you saved, so your list is there when you return. No password is created, and we never sell or share it.
• Local settings: your theme and Guided/Expert preference are stored in your browser (localStorage) — they never leave your device.
• Basic logs: standard server logs (such as IP address and the page requested) for security and reliability.

Analytics, cookies & advertising

Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited and overall, aggregated traffic patterns. It sets cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device and browser, and the pages you view. We use this only to improve the site, not to identify you personally. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Advertising: this site uses Google AdSense to serve ads. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Apart from these, we use only essential storage. Any affiliate links are disclosed below.
